Whether You Think You Can Or Think You Can't, You're Right!!

One day at a time, right? Well, sometimes that's just too much to handle. But I can do 15 minutes at a time, or 5 minutes if 15 it too overwhelming.

The point is, I can do this! I can get healthy. I can get fit. I don't have to make excuses for why I am the way I am, but if I don't like something about myself then I'm the only one that can change things for me!

My weight does not define me! But, it does hinder me from doing things I love and from feeling as good as ...

My weight does not define me! But, it does hinder me from doing things I love and from feeling as good as I'd like to feel and if I want to feel good again then I must take steps toward that goal.

Welcome to the Colorado Team!!! I'm a native from Denver and love this state from the activities outdoors to the postcard pictures that our Rocky Mountains give. Good luck on your journey to a healthier lifestyle!

“The difference between stepping stones and stumbling blocks is not in the event itself but how you think about it and what you do after it.
Every failure and setback can become part of your success or an excuse for quitting or failing.
People who develop the discipline of positivity are both happier and more successful."
-Michael Josephson

Just dropping by to say hello, Sparkfriend! Remember, you don't have to be perfect on this journey in order to make progress! As long as you keep trying...and never quit...you are already a success! Keep doing your best, because you are worth the effort!
Hugs,
Pixie

"Part of abandoning the all-or-nothing mentality is allowing yourself room for setbacks.
We are bound to have lapses on the road to health and wellness, but it is critical that we learn how to handle small failures positively so that we can minimize their long-term destructive effects.
One setback is one setback—it is not the end of the world, nor is it the end of your journey toward a better you.”

"It is rewarding to find someone you like, but it is essential to like yourself.
It is quickening to recognize that someone is a good and decent human being, but it is indispensable to view yourself as acceptable.
It is a delight to discover people who are worthy of respect and admiration and love, but it is vital to believe yourself deserving of these things."

"My invitation to you is to begin living every moment as though you are miraculous and deserve to live an extraordinary life.
Fake it if you must and keep faking it until it’s real to you. The gift you will be giving yourself is a lifelong journey of discovery, one that is infinite and infinitely rewarding. Begin the journey. Today. This moment. Now."

I love that one of your goals is to run a 5k with your daughter! Wouldn't that be wonderful!?! I'm hoping to do the same one of these days with my daughter. We were supposed to do a crazy race that tons of obstacles, but sadly enough I was not well enough to do it....and then she headed off for college. Thanks for your encouragement on my blog/Spark Page. I really appreciated it! Blessings to you.
