My Goals:
Currently scheduled to run the Charlottesville, VA maraton on 17 April 2010. I am using Hal Higdon's MARATHON TRAINING GUIDE for novices, as I have not run a marathon in 7 years. In addition, to maintain my strength training I will be using the Crossfit WOD training. Because of work and being in Iraq I might miss out on a few work-outs, but I have 5 months to train, and the training program is an 18 week program, giving me an additional month of training.

Personal Information:
I'm currently in Iraq. The interesting thing is I am actually able to concentrate on fitness here more than at home.
Other Information:
I'm looking to use the marathon as a fund raiser for Special Operations Warrior Foundation to assist SOF soldiers who have been wounded or families of soldiers who have lost their lives in defense of country, team mates and self. God Bless them. (www.firstgiving.com/lyleschaeffer)
