Becoming Accountable

Tomorrow (7/26/10) I'm admitting I can't do this alone. Sparkpeople, while wonderful, isn't enough. I've tried for 2 1/2 years to lose weight, and in the end I've lost none. If I decide not to log food on spark, I just quit logging onto my computer. It's so easy to turn off the accountability of my online friends. So tomorrow, I'm joining the F.A.S.T. Diet. I'll be using spark to log food. I'll be stepping up my exercise to every day of the week. But I'm adding a diet coach. In other ...

I am a pastor's wife from Nebraska and mother to 5 girls and 1 boy, ages 11-24. I home school my three youngest and teach piano to 20 students. Music is one of my passions as is women's ministries at our church.

To tell the truth, I did not join any teams until about a month ago. I really rely mostly on the friendships that I developed during those first several months. Blogging helps me a lot as well. I am finding now that the teams I have joined (5% Challenge and BLC) are pushing me a little harder than I would do on my own, so they have definitely helped as well!

"Beautiful Woman Award! Once you've been given this award, you have to paste it on the wall of 8 women who deserve it. If you receive more than 3, you know you're really beautiful! If you break the chain, nothing will happen, but it's always good to know someone thinks you're beautiful inside and out"
