I want to change for ME!

Okay lets change me, I've said I wanted to but I sat back on the couch since last July. I'm ready to do this and need to do this for myself.

I am 42 mother with 2 sons (and one daughter n law now) and a great husband. I am a Sunday School Teacher, Preteen Director, and avid member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. A daughter to a wonderful and strong mother (dad Passed away this past year).

My Goals:
To lose down to 150 and be healthy and fit in order to live a long and healthy life. I am looking forward to being able to be active like I use to be. Where I can be around for my Boys and possible grandchildren (sooner or later).

Another goal is to be able to wear a size 10 in clothes!!!

Cutting calories to 1500-1800 a day.

Stay39--I'm doing better today. Started back after the doctor says he finally got this viral/bacteria or whatever infection out of me. I can now eat and get moving again. Walked for a long time today and going back to work tomorrow. Hoping to start a fitness routine there! Glad to talk to you and will talk to you soon!

emoticon to the Weight Loss Café. This is going to be a different sort of team. It is going to be a stress free team that is dealing more with an educational aspect on how we can be successful on our journey here on Spark People. You can participate in the threads or not. No judgment will be made. You may simply just want the information the team will share. One of the best things I love about Spark people is the sharing of our knowledge. Read the articles, glean what you can from it and use it in developing your new healthy lifestyle.

Diets do not work and this is what this team will focus on. It is the lifestyle changes that will allow you to be successful. Any diet will work but only as long as you stay on it. You need to choose an eating plan you can live with –FOREVER. There is no quick band aid fixes. No lotions, potions, or pills here. It is just plain old healthy food.

Hope you will share some of your tips or things that worked for you with the team. There is an entire Resource Forum that is uploaded with various documentaries you can watch for free. Enjoy them, learn from them, they are better than summer reruns on tv. Please add any information or insight you can to help us all be successful.

Hey love, it’s good to see you on the chat board. I come to your page to send you a message of love, peace & bravery. I was reading your page intro, and I see you have made a lot of “new” changes in your life. You changed your lifestyle, and change your job. That’s all good news, and now you want to change you. Changing you is going to happen in your life. We have to remember…Small Steps will one day add up to big steps, but you have to make small steps, smart choices, and work on you and don’t be afraid of the outcome whatever it maybe health wise. You can do all things through Christ who strength you.
Be blessed in all you do. You’re a fighter and next month your blood work is going to be good.
Believe in your PROGRAM and believe in the PROMISE you made to yourself.
