In a recent writing, he explains "The Wisdom Of Ayurveda" ... ...from the five elements, the three doshas are derived - Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Known as mind-body types, the doshas express particular patterns of energy -unique blends of physical, emotional and mental characteristics. In Ayurveda, health is defined as the dynamic state of balance between mind, body and environment. It is possible for each of us to achieve and maintain a vibrant and joyful state of health by identifying our mind-body type and then creating a lifestyle that sustains and nurtures our unique nature. I am what is called Kapha Dosha: When Kapha is out of balance, too much Earth has accumulated in mind, body and environment. The result is a sense of sluggishness, congestion, and dullness. The best way to balance excess Kapha is to bring more movement and circulation into the physiology. 1. Eat Clean 2. 30 minutes MINIMUM of activity every day 3. Be more positive 4. Have better self esteem 5. Don't be afraid to ask for help/advice if needed 6. Take time out to meditate daily 7. Stick with the personal trainer until I see the results I want 8. Maybe even compete in fitness shows

Cardio - walking, working up to running - five times a week - would like to alternate running/walking until I can jog/run at a steady pace Strength exercises - working out with weights 2 times a week (M & F with personal trainer) Yoga - Rodney Yee DVD - (Tues, Thurs, Sat) Sunday - rest, mediation, walking, and Yoga

Other Information:
I subscribe to Oxygen fitness magazine and they have the information needed to help with weight loss/fitness goals. I also have Tosca Reno's book "The Eat Clean Diet" and a friend gave me "The Eat Clean Cookbook" - both books are great to help you along your weight loss journey. I find motivation from people like Jackie Warner, Tosca Reno, Elaine Goodland, Maggie Diubaldo, Francisca Dennis and Jennifer Nicole Lee. I recently fulfilled my dream of getting a personal trainer.
