Ready to finally make lifestyle changes for good!

Well I've tried different diets before and I had success, got comfortable and gained it all back. I would like for once and for all to make life style changes that will last and I can maintain my weight. I have trouble thinking of healthy new snacks and meal ideas so helping this site will help!

Hi Welcome to Spark!

I have been on Spark for 9 months now, it is the best step I took for myself! Since being a member I have lost close to 75 pounds, have been the most active, I have ever been in my adult life!
The site is filled with great tools, from the nutrition tracker, to the fitness tracker both of which I use daily, The site also has great videos, exercise videos, recipe demos, member blogs on video.
Speaking of members, Spark has the most inspiring and motivational members anywhere!
Make sure you join some teams, and make some friends! If you have any questions feel free to sparkmail me or stop by my page I am usually on!

emoticon emoticon ANY time is a great time to start...especially with Sparkpeople. Give yourself a big hug for making this positive choice for yourself. Take your time to explore all the resources available for you here. It can seem overwhelming because there are so many resources to choose from. Two to consider using are the Nutrition and Fitness Trackers. Also, check out Spark Teams under the COMMUNITY Tab. Do searches on your goals, interests, hobbies, whatever. Then join one, two or more Spark teams. You'll enjoy getting to know these folks and giving and getting lots of encouragement along the way. It's all good. Enjoy the journey!

Welcome to SparkPeople. We think of this as a life style change and not diet. I have found that the information here helps me make the right choices. I have to work on this every day. I use the food and fitness trackers. I am glad to meet you.
