A new lifestyle in the making!

I'm my own worst enemy when it comes to weight-loss! I've "failed" so many times, it's almost as though I stopped taking it seriously... until now! Something feels different this time and I can't quite explain it. I'm not following a particular plan exactly, but more of a few self-prescribed guidelines that will help me lose weight and feel great. Here they are:

(1) Eat 5-6 times per day
(2) Eat high-fiber carbohydrates in proper portions
(3) Eat lean proteins with ...

Something feels different this time and I can't quite explain it. I'm not following a particular plan exactly, but more of a few self-prescribed guidelines that will help me lose weight and feel great. Here they are:

(1) Eat 5-6 times per day
(2) Eat high-fiber carbohydrates in proper portions
(3) Eat lean proteins with every snack and meal
(4) Consume only natural sugars *from fruit*
(5) Aim for around 1500 calories per day

It feels totally different not following a specific plan, but still being in total control by writing down what I eat (to keep myself accountable).

I truly believe that I WILL succeed in losing around 120lbs to get myself to a healthy weight and to regain the self confidence that has long been lost.

Just wanted to say hello, and that youre profile caught my eye by chance, cuz it could have been mine in many ways. Stay focused and you can do it. I am just beginning and have already had some pitfalls(Memorial Weekend), but am not giving up this time as i have many times before. Good luck to you.
