I think it's going to settle in this time. Fought my weight my WHOLE life. After a couple of years of therapy, getting comfortable with being me, I've recently read a book that just clicked.

I'm going to let go of the carbs and simple sugars in my life. I'm not a low-carb advocate, and don't need to know or care what others are doing with their bodies. I'm just going to do my thing.

I'm back here primarily for the logging tools that sync well with my Fitbit. It can be hard to stay focused around here with all the different methods and opinions and resources, but I'm hoping to "take what I like and leave the rest".

Cheers.

I was never a runner until I started c25k. I always tried but could never discipline myself enough to run longer than a minute or two. SO I was so excited when I ran 20 minutes straight during the training. It gets harder after that point but once you finish the training, you develop a passion for it and you can just keep going.

My advice is to keep your pace as slow as you need it to be. My jog was incredibly slow, but I was still jogging and keeping my breathing even. That's the key. Once you've lost your breath, you're done. Speed comes later.

Keep me posted on your progress! Good luck!!

Thank you for stopping by my blog! I was reading your status. I love C25K! I was doing it right before I got pregnant. I can't wait to start it up again. What week are you on?
