Yay for apartments! It is so hard to live back with parents once you have had a taste of freedom! My parents kicked me out when I moved back in after college a couple summers ago because I had an "attitude problem." I totally did. My attitude has been adjusted now! Lol. Its always fun decorating it and everything! I was so lonely when I moved out that I had to get a kitty to keep me company.

How's work and the weight loss going? And how is being 21? Hehe.
I might be taking a coaching position this summer which would mean I would have to take less caregiving hours. I am totally up for that!

no Kristine.. i work only a couple days a week.. but when i was your age I worked 2-3 jobs all the time.. I had a factory job that I worked 7 days 12 hours every week, and then i worked at a restaurant at night 4-5 days.. slept on my days off. Then I worked at the pizzeria every hour they were open when they first started. 88 hours a week. I used to go close the bar every night also. I'd go home around 4, sleep till 10, get to work at 11 a.m.

You kids today are lightweights..lol.. my employees are lazy. i wake them up at noon. anything over 8 hours, and they are tired.

Anyways you go to school full time, and also work right.. think of all those hours combined, and add travel time.. think if it was all at one place. it adds up. 100 hours a week leaves 68 to sleep. Now, the factories around here work 40 hours. Back in the 90's we worked 56 when it was slow, 84 a week when it was busy.

I just wish I had all that money.. 50K would get me in a pizzeria

If I didn't have a heart condition, I could buy one in 2 years.. it'll probably take me a decade at the rate i am working now

As far as the heat.. it's 68 in the front lobby.. not too bad if you only stay in the back for a few hours, and come into the AC every 15 mins for a few. Also that's on a 90 degree day. which is rare here. most days are 85 or lower.maybe 100 in back room

i was just ranting a little.. lol.. I do love the job obviously..but if i buy that pizzeria, I will air condition it, and give my employees more money per hour

of course the world ends next December , so why do I care.?? lol

Have a great day emoticon

I had a rough weekend also. a couple of my employees decide that they wanted to go to the beach rather than work , and I had to cover their shifts, and this week another 2 took off the entire weekend right before i made the schedule. I keep fewer employees because I want them to get enough hours, so this is more hours I have to work. It is hard for me with my heart problem to work too much, especially since the kitchen is 110 degrees right now. I was thinking of telling the second person to request the weekend off " sorry, ya gotta work", buuuut.. its her anniversary.. so I relented. Hopefully all the extra weight I lost will keep me from having chest pains. I do feel cooler than last summer.. I was 290 then, and was very uncomfortable.

Other than that I feel great. I love my job, Hoping to own my own pizzeria. I wish I had realized this is what i wanted to do when I was still healthy , and working 100 hours a week. I would own a pizzeria already. Instead I blew all of the money..lol. Ah, the 20's.. A decade of fun, and being broke. You're 30's will be much easier Kristine, just less fun.

I have Thursday off, and am going to see the hangover II, waiting for new seasons to start on my TV shows.

So basically, I am just passing the time.. week, after week, the same. Boring, but relaxing, except when my employees realize the beach is open.I miss the rain already..lol

have a great day
