Hello there,
I saw your post on the ETL message board. You will not go hungry or feel deprived on ETL.
I know the plan sounds difficult, but coming from someone who did not enjoy cooking and ate processed foods/carry out 80% of the time until a month ago, the ETL plan is not very hard to implement once you decide youíre ready for a real change.

I suggest keep meals simple. On a typical day I have oatmeal with fruit or a green smoothie for breakfast, salad and bean soups for lunch, and steamed vegetables/stir fry for dinner. Keeping meals simple has helped me remain on the plan for 5 weeks and counting. Tomorrow will mark one month on ETL and I've lost 17 lbs. I have never lost that amount of weight in a four week period! The first week was tough, but after your body and mind adjusts during the detox stage, the results you see on the scale and within will be worth it. Not long after you start, you will find cravings for sweets and salty foods will start to decrease and easier to manage. I still have temptation and moments when I make poor food choices, but 90% of the time I am eating nutritious meals that leave me satiated until the next meal. (What diet does that?)

I also suggest typing vegan and vegetarian recipes in Google, you will find pages of blogs and websites full of recipes to make eating on this plan easier.

I hope my suggestions are helpful. I am still learning and a baby on the ETL plan but this is the first time I feel like I can be successful on a diet. In fact, I donít view it as a diet - itís a new way of eating. I guess what I am saying is if nothing you have tried in the past brought you lasting success, why not give ETL a real try? You have nothing to lose but the weight. Best wishes on your journey. - Bre

Buon Giorno Diva!!!

The weekend is just about here. How are you going to spend it? Falling off the wagon or staying on and holding tight? I found a great quote that rings true to all those small things we do. Think about that when making food choices this weekend. Have a good one!

Ain't that the truth? Too many times we're all looking at the big picture on not focusing on the little things that make the big picture possible. Take time to look at the little things each day because those little things when put together will bring the success in the end. So when you tell yourself that one piece won't hurt or that you'll eat better tomorrow, stop yourself and make the healthier and the right choice. We have to start somewhere, why not start right now? Let's conquer the dreaded weekend and make it happen this time. We can all do it! Ciao!
