My Goals:
Get back to high-school weight, regain my confidence and be able to wear sleeveless blouses and dresses. At 59, that will take some...SPARKPEOPLE!

My Program:
Never giving up.
Unbreakable rules:
1. Gym at least 4 times a week.
2. Forgive others and myself when not "perfect." We live a life blessed by grace, so pass it on.
3. Starting in April, weigh every single week. Report even weight gains. Do it.


Personal Information:
Married to the love of my life, who is ultra-skinny and a life-long athlete/gym rat. He is married to a former gym rat wannabe, who became quite ill, and was finally diagnosed with lupus, gluten and lactose intolerance--but that was just the beginning. Then came Crohn's Disease and RA. Health challenges and injuries have kept me home bound much of the time last year, and it is time to START OVER! I am BLESSED BEYOND MEASURE. Sometimes it can be difficult to remember my blessings, and I want to focus on the positive!

Other Information:
I am a Christian, but far from perfect.
God's people, music, books, and art make me happy. I want to serve the Lord Jesus Christ despite my disabilities. I also striving to be more thankful for the challenges I have been given, for they are blessings.

Favorite movies: Moonstruck, The Wings of a Dove, Girl with a Pearl Earring, The Age of Innocence. I like period movies and classic literature and being swept away by a great story!

Thanks for the balloons! On the 2 weight picture, I went to the website that you make the weight gals, don't even remember what it's called, created 2 gals, one for my weight then and another for my goal weight, saved both to my computer, opened both in Photoshop, typed in the weights, saved both on one canvas making it one picture and viola! There it is. =)

Hello! Your goal and start weight are similar to mine. My family is mostly overweight, and so they think that I am crazy for making the effort to shape up. However, I gained fifteen pounds in the last two years and I know how much better I feel when my gut isn't flopping over the waistband of my pants. Nevermind the muffin top. Anyway it is good to see someone with similar goals. Go girl!
