    Sorry I haven't been responding much lately, my job was ending so there was little time to be online with everything I had going on. Now that I am home, I have plenty of time to actually get on spark and keep up with everything. Luckily enough, I didn't get off track so still doing ok. How have you been?     Congratulations on joining C25k. You can do it - just slow and steady and stick with it! You are off to a good start, and very soon you will see the energy boost you mentioned in your post.     Thank you for your post about my phentermine question. You were actually the only person who didn't weigh in on weather I should have been perscribed it and gave me an answer from your own experience.

    I spoke with my Dr. and she was concerned by the side effects so today I will wean off of it. I am currently also giving up diet coke (day 16) and lowering my carbs for my pre-diabetes. I think all 3 things are just too much for my system to do all at once. So I am going to stay strong on the diet coke front (even though I would love one now :) ) and go slower on changing my diet. My hope is to be in the healthy BMI by December. I have about 25 pounds until that happens and I can't wait to be there.

    Good luck on joining Couch to 5k. I'm starting week 9 tonight and I'm 50years old and never run before. It is challenging, but that is the great part of it. It is like having a personal trainer in my bedroom because I won't give up or quit and the changes I have seen in my body keep me going. Again, good luck. I hope you love it as much as I have. emoticon
