Live life, not just survive

Sometimes life just slides by when you're not looking. I need to look around before I miss it! I want to live life to the fullest, and be happy and healthy.

I am a mother of a 15 year old and a 7 year old. I work a full time job, run the household and have an active social life. I want to be a published novelist. I have a lot on my plate. I realize I reward myself with food when I have a moment to myself. I have a major sweet tooth and I struggle with cravings for cookies ...
Sometimes life just slides by when you're not looking. I need to look around before I miss it! I want to live life to the fullest, and be happy and healthy.

I am a mother of a 15 year old and a 7 year old. I work a full time job, run the household and have an active social life. I want to be a published novelist. I have a lot on my plate. I realize I reward myself with food when I have a moment to myself. I have a major sweet tooth and I struggle with cravings for cookies and candy. I want to do things my own way and not be told what to do, and I rebel against rules, restrictions and being judged.

I want to avoid health problems like diabetes and heart disease, and I'm keeping an eye on my glucose and cholesterol levels.
Actions:
exercise 30-40 minutes daily
eat calorie range 1500-1800
avoid late night snacking, trigger foods
eat 5 servings fruits and veggies
drink lots of water
reward myself for following plan weekly

I am not here to be perfect, I'm here to find balance. A working Mom needs to prioritize- what's most important in health, relationships, chores, work and so on. I just need to keep going, to keep on keeping on.
