The last two years of my life have been the most life-altering years I have experienced so far, and in the best way! I've replaced dozens of bad habits with healthy ones, both mentally and physically. But to say I am where I want to be today would be a lie. I still have a few bad habits that have been extremely challenging to kick, but I have not given up hope and do not intend to. I will keep setting goals and keep working towards them, for life. "It doesn't get easier, you just get stronger."
LOTS: Lose 10-15lbs of fat. Tone muscles. Run a 25 min 5k, run a 7 min mile. Hold a five min plank. Run in a race.
Spin 1-2 times a week, HIIT 3-4 times a week. Strength train 3 times a week. Rest one day a week. PM walk on Mon, Wed, Sat, Sun. Run at least 10 miles per week.
Born and raised in Southeast Alaska. Iím an island girl, love being surrounded by the ocean. Addicted to Spinning and TRX! Fruit and veggie smoothie-aholic as of March 2014, can't imagine my life without : ) Got engaged to my best friend of nine+ years Aug 2014, planning on a wedding in April 2015.

Need to vent a little, but first...Who, hoo! We are doing great! Did want to check in with you and see how your journey is going. Hope you are happy with your success and dealing with your disappointments. They will soon become success, too! I still haven't gotten into that exercise state of mind, but I think that will be my next major hurdle to accomplish since I actually reached into the top end of the 140's today!!! Yay! Now the venting...my daughter was in a serious car accident on Valentine's Day, so that was a big scare! She is beaten, battered, bruised and very sore, but alive! She was hit 3 times on the freeway, so her car is totaled and she is very sad about that. I'm dealing with the insurance co. of the person who caused the accident and we all know how stressful that can be. I'm sure it will take awhile to get all that settled. We lost a 19 yr old dear friend in December to a drunk driver and I feel blessed that even though the accident was serious my daughter survived. I'm concerned about her injuries and her emotional state since she got hit from the rear, spun 180 into oncoming traffic and then got hit head-on sliding into the shoulder where she got hit one final time by a passing car who was unable to stop in time. So, her body did suffer a lot of trauma and those injuries, especially spine injuries seem to never go away as we get older. I'll check in again in a few weeks and let you know how we are doing.
