I'm back! Conquering 2012!

Wow, hey guys!? It's been about 9 months since I've been on here! I'm not going to lie, I fell of the healthwagon gained every pound back I had lost and a couple more, but I'm not giving up! A lot has changed since I last logged on here.

I'm now a nursing student! I took main courses that I needed to get in the program and I just got accepted into the LPN program at my college! That's a big deal for me! I also received a scholarship from my school in December and got awarded for ...
Wow, hey guys!? It's been about 9 months since I've been on here! I'm not going to lie, I fell of the healthwagon gained every pound back I had lost and a couple more, but I'm not giving up! A lot has changed since I last logged on here.

I'm now a nursing student! I took main courses that I needed to get in the program and I just got accepted into the LPN program at my college! That's a big deal for me! I also received a scholarship from my school in December and got awarded for having a 4.0.

Now that I am in the nursing program, I am sitting here knowing that I need to get healthy, not only for my career, but for my health in general!

This is my journey and a new chapter in my life...I am going to do this! :)

My Goals:
My main goals and aspirations are to become a healthier person and to continue losing the remainder of my "extra" weight, until I reach my achievement of 120lbs!

My Program:
Staying active in the SP forums!

Intense cardio 6x (days) a week, light cardio on 7th.

Portion control during all meals, always!

Keeping "snacking" to a minimum of 2x a day, if any.

8+ glasses of water a day.

Absolutely no junk food, fast food, fried foods, or sodas.

I am no where near being able to run! I read about a lady on here that was 280lbs and started this program and she has lost about 100lbs and runs 5Ks.. That motivated me!!

I'll e-mail you the link because it won't let me post it!!

You are coming along really good on your walking. I need to get back into it also. I dropped weight really quick when I was walking all the time. Plus, it's a good stress reliever!

AND CONGRATS ON THE MILE IN 13 MINUTES!!

Same here! I've decided to try and run and 5K! I foudn this 9 week program on here to accomplish. I'm trying to create other goals besides losing weight (even though I wan't to be thinner), but that will come off with running too! So it is a win, win for me!
