How long have you been running? Remember, your body makes the adaptation to running when you are not running. If you are a newbie (under a year of running under your belt), I still recommend an every other day type training. While our bodies can adapt cardio-respiratory wise to running, it can take a solid year of consistent running for the changes to take place for your muscles, bones and connective tissue.
