If not now, when? Love yourself into health and a good life of your own.

Different health complications over the years contributed to weight gain. Now, I am determined to take control over them and reclaim my health. I am a self-employed Pencil Portrait Artist, so I have no excuse for not having time for me. I work on MY schedule and I can make time for ME.

My Goals:
IF NOT NOW, WHEN? My goals are simple. To reclaim my health thru body, mind, and soul. This is not about the scale. This is a total fitness quest.

My Program:
I try to eat every three hours to keep my metabolism at an even keel, balancing protein with healthy carbs.

I do some cardio every day and alternate my weight lifting with upper body one day and lower body the next.

I was going between two sights doing this and this year will be using only SP. :) This will help me get a better visual of with more accurate reports.

Personal Information:
I am from South Dakota. I was raised on a farm and still miss it. I owned and operated semi's and drove Coast to Coast for 14 years by myself. I have always been and will always be a "blue-collar" gal. :)

Other Information:
I am still self-employed. I have a portrait studio now and people send me their photos and I do custom work for them. My daughter draws with me. My husband as a Wood working shop and we have combined our talents with Laser equipment now.

Thanks for the comment on my page. It is so easy to be blown off course on this journey and fall into The Pit of Despair. Being positive helps me pick myself up, dust myself off and find my way back to the journey path to success.
Hope you are having a stellar weekend

Thanks for stopping by. I'm sorry I'd forgotten about your thyroid, that makes total sense. How frustrating! By the bike compare I meant the calories burned overall. You are so in motion every day. I'm in total motion part of my day - then sitting at the computer - except when I'm antsy and walk around the house. How does your art affect you? Can you sit still for long periods to work on it, or are you like me, needing to hop up?
