Losing to live

Through numerous health issues, I know the only way to live healthy is to lose weight.
It is a very slow progress for me, messed up by previous eating disorders and medications I am now taking.
I am positive this is going to work for me.

My Goals:
Goals - to become healthier and no longer be in a high risk range for a heart attack.
I'd like to get down to 120 but at this time I am keeping my goals smaller and more attainable and am trying for 150 first.

My Program:
I am learning to eat less calories, but eat healthy and enough calories.
I am on an exercise program on my own. 3X a week cardio and 3X a week strength with one day of either yoga or pilates thrown in.

Personal Information:

3 kids all grown up.

Don't have much time to do my hobbies of reading, traveling, hiking, exploring nature as I am starting my 4th semester of Grad school.

Other Information:
In graduate school for my MLIS. I hope to complete it May 2009.

Thanks, I am feeling fairly "SPARKED" at the minute! I am just counting fat grams and adjusting my diet to keeping at 50 grams or below, much to the dismay of my hubby, who is thin as a rail, but I make two meals at times just for him, I know, at times I can be a saint. LOL emoticon
