2012 is a Good Year so far----

Hi I got a late start on my SPage but here it is. This year has been good so far as everything goes. I have lost almost half the pounds I want to and hope the next six months are just as kind so loosing the rest will go smoothly. I have met quite a few very supportive people on my teams and feel very lucky to have their friendship. SparkPeople has helped to reshape the way I think on food issues and how to react to disappointment along my journey. So here's to the rest of the Year! Yeah!

My name is Lucinda and hello to all who read my page. I'm a grandma with 1 daughter and 2 grandchildren who are a big part of my life. I also have a loyal little companion, Toruk, who is a rescue from the local Animal Shelter.

Other Information:
I like to read, watch dvds and container garding. I love to be outside in nice sunny warm weather and take walks and other activities. I enjoy a good cup of coffee and visiting with others and I love all the activities on SparkPeople.

Thank you for the personal chef, she makes great toast and applesauce for my sore tummy! Maybe something more exciting later in the wek:-)

Thank you for your concern and advice. Applesauce and rudis gluten free bread are my diet so far today! I did exercise to classical stretch and did OK but the arm exercises were hard and I felt weak. Hope I've seen the worst of this yuck!
