Setbacks are only for re-grouping . . . . not stopping!!!

Took almost a 2 year lapse after a broken elbow and then right on it's heels an abdominal hysterectomy which kept me down for almost a year. Lost all the ground I had gained fitness wise and then gained the 20 lbs back that I had lost before the surgery.

I have decided that 2012 will be the year that I slam it out. No more foolin' around about it! I keep getting older and not necessarily better! That is going to change.

And I am getting back on my bike! I want to ...

And I am getting back on my bike! I want to be fit enough to ride with the women's group in April. So I better get going!

Congrats on the big weight loss--I'm sure there's more to it than losing the uterus emoticon !

Hope your recovery is going smoothly and that you're back in the saddle before the weather gets too cold to bike. Haven't given up on ride the Silver Comet with you and your DH one of these days.

Best--

MRI to elbow? What happened? Have been out of touch while we were away.

Were you able to ride the Silver Comet last week? What did you think of the trail? Let us know if you're going to be in town to ride again--it would be fun to ride together.

We had a great bike trip--I'll blog w more details later.

Best--

Hi! I have always loved the bike much more then I will ever like running. I currently have two bikes, one is a 16+ year old Trek 820, which I have the trailer connected to. The other bike is a Trek 7.3fx. I like both of the bikes that I have. What type of bike do you ride?
