Lisa's Weight Loss Journey

I'm a 38 year old married WAHM of 2 boys, ages 10 and 8. My husband and I will be married 15 years January 2009. My family keeps me busy with LOTS soccer games and practices. We enjoy spending time together and I also love scrapbooking, music, reading and working out to Turbo Jam/Turbo Kick!

I'm not new to SparkPeople, but I'm starting over again at the beginning as I have allowed bad habits and excess weight back into my life. UGH!

My Goals:
My Goal Weight is 118 lbs. More than that I want to be fit and live healthy.

My Program:
I am on Weight Watchers and have almost completed Couch Potato to 5K training. From there I will add in Turbo Jam and Hip Hop Abs again, along with Chalean Extreme for resistance training.

In answer to your question on the Rippers team forum:

Sunday: Cardio - TurboJam
Monday: Ripped 60 min
Tuesday: Rest
Wednesday: Ripped 60 min + 20 or 30 min. TJ
Thursday: 45-60 min. TurboJam
Friday: Rest
Saturday: Ripped
Sunday: Turbo Jam

This is my rotation:
Sunday: Strength training: Cathes F. - Pyramid - Upper or Lower or
Ripped - Full-body workout

Monday: Cardio: 25 - 60 minutes - Turbo Jam, Cathe - step/blast (HIIT); Gin Miller - Intense Step workout (HIIT); Spinning (steady state or HIIT) or Karen Voight - step/floor...

Tuesday: Strength training... If full body on Sunday, and I am not too sore, maybe another full body strength training workout, or Pyramid up or down or Cathe

Wednesday: Cardio - same as Monday

Thursday: Strength - same as Sunday & Tuesday

Friday: Cardio: Same as Monday & Wedneday

I try to mix it up, so that my body doesn't plateau... I rest on Saturday... I am following the "Body for Life" program; eat clean for 6 days and on the 7th day, have a free day where I can eat whatever I want. His program actually follows the pyramid system, which is a tried and true method of bodybuilding, however, mentally, I need to mix it up more to ward off boredom, and I think adding Jari to the mix will do that...

Your workout is very intense, to be able to do cardio after Jari... I just wanted to relax... I did my first Ripped sunday.. the Slim & Lean workout and I feel it today...
