I refuse to take medication. I will gain control of my life and body.

I am so inspired by all the transformations on Spark people. I've been told that I have to spend a fortune on plastic surgery to have a body like a fitness model. I thought the same thing until I came across some inspirational stories. I feel in my heart that I can do this. I just need to be guided in the right direction. I will continue to read and find what works for me, and hopefully one day soon I can be proud enough to post a picture of myself.

My Goals:
My goals are :
To lose 40 pounds so I can look good and feel sexy.

I want to be able to wear a bikini for the first time ever.

I want to have a body like the fitness models.

I want my Husband to look at me and think "she's with me".

My Program:
I am drinking half my weight in water.

I do cardio 3 times a week and lift mild weights 2 times a week. ( I plan to add an extra day of cardio.

I will be starting P90x soon.

Hi and thanks for your comments about my health scare today. Have you been able to successfully manage your low blood pressure? I thought I had everything under control until today's episode, so I'm wondering if there's more I should be doing. I want to have a list of suggestions prepared for my follow-up visit with my doctor, so any advice you can give me would be great!

Hi and thanks for the friend add! I would also love to have the body of a fitness model and now that I've been at goal for a few months I can really focus more on getting in great shape rather than just losing weight. I know I could do better if I dedicated myself to a program 99% of the time but with my history of ups and downs, I think slow and steady progress and a more moderate program will always need to be my mantra.
