Ready to lose it!

I have been struggling with my weight for several years now. I am not at an "unhealthy" weight, but I am not happy with my body. I want to be able to feel good about how I look, and feel better (I am always exhausted, sick, and blah). I want to be more active and eat a healthier diet (I am a vegetarian, but my school has little to offer that does not contain meat). I am working through my second year of college, working a morning job three days a week, and participating on the Intercollegiate ...
I have been struggling with my weight for several years now. I am not at an "unhealthy" weight, but I am not happy with my body. I want to be able to feel good about how I look, and feel better (I am always exhausted, sick, and blah). I want to be more active and eat a healthier diet (I am a vegetarian, but my school has little to offer that does not contain meat). I am working through my second year of college, working a morning job three days a week, and participating on the Intercollegiate Hunter Seat team as a non-rider (I have a tendon injury in my ankle that makes riding at this level dangerous for my ankle).
I am currently doing yoga and Pilates 2X a week, and trying to get in some gym time several times a week. So far the gym has not been happening, but I plan on writing it into my planner/lifeline book and hopefully sticking to it..

My Goals:
I've done the math, and my ideal weight is about 125lbs. That's 15 left to lose!

My Program:
* vegetarian meals - I need to add more whole grains and vegetables to my diet as well
* yoga and Pilates - 1 hour classes, 2X a week
*elliptical - at least a half-hour 2-4 days a week
*no more munchies! I love to snack all day, so I am working on cutting the junk foods, and sticking to finger veggies

You can do it! Just start, and mold your program and plan to something that fits better as you go along. The startup is always like trying to pull a wet bathing suit up! Keep tugging!

Welcome to SP! This is such a fantastic site and will be good for you to find what you need to get you into shape in time for college -- how exciting and wonderful!!!

There are many teams here on SP look into those as you may find some that fit what you need help with! Also don't feel shy about posting on the message boards there is amazing support and help available on there!

Don't hesitate to take some time to really poke around SP there is a lot on here!! Best of luck toyou and your goals!!
