For Myself
I have spent my life avoiding the truth about the consequences of not taking care of myself. One month ago I was diagnosed with diabetes. It is time to do this for myself. I think I've been waiting for someone to come and fix it for me. Not anymore.

My Goals:
My over all goal is to lose 130 pounds. To get there I will eat under 2300 calories and exercise 30 min a day. I want to lose 2 pounds a week. That requires a calorie deficit average of 7000 a week or 1000 calories a day.
My Program:
To meet my goals I am focusing on small attainable daily goals. Most of these are to show myself I am worth it. 1. Shower, floss and brush my teeth every day. 2. Make sure I am ready to prepare every meal. (Clean kitchen.) 3. Eat on purpose. Everything that goes in my mouth I plan for. 4. Manage my money. Make healthy food a priority by choosing to spend more money on it. 5. Get out there and walk. 6. Create projects that support my goals. My first project is a window farm.
Personal Information:
I am an artist/builder. I am 37 years old and going back to school to get my Architectural degree. If I get in I will start this summer. I work at a dream job from my home. I am a construction consultant for large hospital construction projects. I love to read. I am a scifi geek and love watching anime. I have a daughter that is 13 and a son that is 11. They both live with my ex-wife but they come over often to visit. I draw, paint, build models and create digital art.
