One Day At A Time

I am a 37 yr old mom to two beautiful girls. I am also with the most wonderful man in the world and couldn't be any happier.

This past year I've had spurts where I really did well and then seem to just maintain the rest of the time. Now that I'm expecting I'm really going to have to dig deep and keep myself in check so I don't gain a ton of weight. I know what I'm actually capable of and with the help of all my great spark friends I know I'll get there...one day at a time!

Growing up I never had problems with weight but then I became a pregnant teen and put on over 100 lbs b/c of the stress and heartache of giving my baby up for adoption.
Ever since then I have been on the weight loss roller coaster. Just once in my life it would be nice to drop ALL the weight and never be on that ride again, lol.

I know I could think of several excuses as to why I can't overcome all the obstacles that stand in my way but I know I need to push those aside and fight for what I deserve....what my family deserves!

FOOD: To sub two meals with protein shakes & eat one meal and two snacks in between. Focusing on lots of organic foods! Lean proteins, lots of veggies and low on fruits.
Drinking all water.

WORKOUT:
Monday - Saturday
Lots of cardio and resistance bands a couple times a week.
Love Zumba, Turbo Jam, Insanity and Tae Bo

Yes, I took the break, but on Sunday I did 80 squats instead of 60 because of the break. Before I knew it I went for 2 more sets of 10. It felt great now I'm skipping what's next in line and I'm going for 100. I'm serious about a lot of things and this is one of them along with my weight training. I'm glad you changed your mind. We can now both get to squatin' emoticon

I am squatin' and I love it! I did day 2 girl, and I might be crazy for saying this, but I think I might skip my rest day and push through. I have to do 60 today then I get to rest on Monday, but I might do less instead of rest on my day of rest. IDK, but I sure do love the feeling and a great burn. Plus I got a lot of pants I need these thighs in shape in order to wear them out. emoticon

OH NO! I Challenge you! Yes, I challenge you to join the Squat challenge with me. You know you can adjust those numbers around. Like...Start with 15 and then add 5 or 10 the next day. My kids are doing it with me and it's so fun. My son really got me going. He said MA! If you don't do this you're going to keep on putting it off and the family will see the old you again. Do you want that? I'm now 25lbs away from where I was last summer. I got to get back. Anything fun and doable is in my will house, but I'm about to bring it.
