This was a few months PP. I don't really know how much I weighed then, but it was a lot less than now!

~~~ 2o11 Update!~~~~
Well, I've been off the wagon for awhile. Life got busy and I chose what was important to me. Unfortunately, this wasn't one of those things.
I am happy to report that I now have a new baby BOY! He was born April 13th 2011 after four hours of labor. He was born gently at home, into our hands.
I am now starting enough PP to be exercising again so I decided to get on it! I am not waiting to get this moving.
I am again at around 230. I hate myself for allowing that to happen. Thankfully, I was smart this pregnancy and made sure to make GOOD decisions about food. I hardly gained any weight and I'd lost all of the weight I did gain by two weeks PP. Unfortunately, I've gained some of it back. Anyway, here I am! Going strong again and I intend to keep it that way!
My major goal is to run Bloomsday 2012. It's a half marathon. I want to RUN the WHOLE thing.
It's good to be back folks. I start tomorrow. 6.16.2011.
Wish me luck!
In high school I was a tiny girl. I didn't know it. I thought I was fat, but still hoarded food when I could get it anyway. Sometimes, I even went so far as to steal it, or money, to get food. It was under almost lock and key at my house.
Anyway, I graduated, got married and put on a few pounds. I didn't think anything of it. I slumped into a deep depression after a miscarriage in August of 06. I gained more weight. I got the depo shot. I gained some more.
In the beginning of 07 I started eating less [but not healthier] and going to the gym. After three weeks of that and not losing any weight I quit.
I fell into a deeper depression and kept up the emotional eating. At the end of 07 I found out I was pregnant with Olivia!! At long last! I ate whatever I wanted and didn't exercise at all, afraid I'd lose the baby.
At 22 weeks pregnant they determined that my amniotic fluid was low, and I went in a lot for ultrasounds. Due to my lack of self control, I had caused my placenta to stop circulating blood the way it was supposed to. So, at 33 weeks and 2 days my doctor decided that the baby needed to come out. She wasn't going to live if she stayed in there.
My daughter Olivia, was born via c-section at 9:37 am on June 2nd, 2008. I continued to do nothing about my weight. Which was then, PP about 220.
I now weight 230ish and have found spark people to be a wonderful tool for me. I don't have to plan anything, I don't have to deprive myself of the things I like [mostly :)] AND I don't have to cook seperately for my husband! What an amazing tool! Thank you Chris Downie, from the bottom of my heart!!
I have my life back. I eat intentionally, and work out regularly. I am, for ONCE proud of the food I have in my home. I am proud to go to the gym. Let them think what they want. I'm a fat girl now, but I will NOT be a "victim" anymore.
11th - 26th -225 [-5] -- Michael bought me and iPod :D
11th - 214.6 [-11] -- Michael bought be a salter scale and new headphones for my iPod plus an armband to hold it while i work out :D
Totals/Update for 2009
I actually managed to get down to 199 pounds in 2009, which was a major accomplishment. Unfortunately, due to lack of self control during the holidays, I gained 8-10 pounds of it back. Oh joy. BUT, what a fantastic year for me, anyway!
What's happening in 2010?
Well, on the eighth of January, 2010 - I am joining a local swim club. I am PUMPED. I know that more than anything, THIS will help me lose weight faster than any other things I've done or tried. I'm excited to get started again. Last year was a rough year for me, but I intend to make this MY year!
Hopefully I can meet my goal all the way this year! Which I changed, by the way. Starting at 230 pounds, I decided to set my goal to 180 - so as not to overwhelm myself. I've now moved it to 165 because I know I can do it. I also believe that is the weight I will be most comfortable at.
Pretty much, I want to wear REAL clothes again! I want to not be in tears whenever we're going to go on a special outing and I don't have anything I feel comfortable AND beautiful in.
I want my back and my knees and ankles to stop hurting. I want to be healthy, and to teach my children to do the same!
I'm following the Nutrition tracker almost exactly. I am also exercising more than I have in a long, LONG time. I feel better already and I want to keep it that way!
I'm the wife of an Air Force retiree! My life has changed a lot since I was on last, but I fully intend to get myself back!
My name is Sara. I'm 24. I've been married to my husband Michael for almost 5 years.
I have two children. Olivia, who is three and John - 9 weeks.
We live in Washington.
I'm a movie-aholic. I LOVE them. I love to swim, and wish I could do it more.I love to read.
