Thanks for stopping by my page. I had a problem yesterday too. I was eating everything in sight myself. I had a hard time controlling myself. However, what I normally do is I listen to my body. I only eat when I'm hungry. I try not to eat due to emotions. I try to be very aware of why I'm eating. My biggest problem that I have to overcome is boredom. That one will cause me to eat when I'm not hungry. I have to be very aware if I'm bored.
I also try to eat at specific times. I have set times that I eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. That way I keep a routine. It has worked for me. I also don't eat that fast. I take my time eating. It usually takes me about a half hour to eat a meal. That's a good goal to set for yourself. Try eating a meal in a half hour or more. The longer it takes to eat a meal the more your body will think it is full.
Don't forget to get your 8 8 ozs. of water in a day. That is also very important. I drink my water every day. The water helps to flush out the impurities in your body. It's good to drink your water.

Sorry i didnt get to answer you before this.. if your not on my list of friends its hard to get to your page since i use mostly a i phone to do everything.. Ok first thing.. now i am only saying what works for me.. first you have to remember this is a life style change i think once we lose we think we can eat whatever and i we wont gain.. cause i have gained a little back.. second.. for me i plan and log in ahead of time my food AND exercise.. it helps me to stay on tract and keep going.. i found also i love going on treadmill and i was walking on it and now can run and walk.. took time for me to be able to do that.. so find out what you love.. and make exercise fun.. dance. do jumping jacks. .. mix it up.. dont do the same thing each time.. i do exercise videos too.. helps in winter time.. summer i ride my bike and do walks and run on treadmill... and also do weights 3 times a week,. as far as food.. i plan ahead on that too.. eating a lot of chicken and fruits and veggies and i snack a lot during the day.. so i always keep my metabolism up ... so even at my age i can do this so can you..!!! 1952 days ago
