I'm young, still searching for myself and for what I want in life.
In my 18 years I have never, ever been thin, and hopefully tracking my fitness and calories with the support of others will help me to feel what it's like to be fit and confident for the first time.
Feel free to add me and talk to me! Age/looks/location/weight loss goals all don't matter to me...we're all people, people needing motivation, as well as a friend.
-gaining a normal relationship with food
Cutting out (most of) the junk food, eating lots of fruits and veggies, practicing portion control on the less healthy foods, drinking tea instead of giving in to sweet tooth cravings, working out for an hour every day plus weight training 3x a week.

I know. The only exercise I get when I'm at school is when we did workouts 2-3 times a week. Let's face it, I don't get much exercise playing softball or whatever in P.E. LOL. In the summer, I run like a mile or two a day, 5 days a week...Since I'm already past halfway, I eat my own food 2 days a week on the JC program. Then by the time I reach my goal they are going to make it a full week, plus I have a full year of maintenence on my own food with them still counseling me. So far, so good. :) My eating habits have changed a lot since I started the program. Happy Summer!!!!! :)

Hey, sorry that I didn't respond to your comment right away. With my brother back from college, I'm lucky if I get to sign on for long periods of time without being interrupted by him. But anyway, I know what you mean about losing weight. I used to have a lot of trouble losing weight and resolved to lose it very slowly (like 1 lb a month pretty much) , but that kind of left me with less motivation, and I didn't get anywhere. But hey, everyone is different, and that was just me. If it works, then that's great! It's better to lose weight slowly anyway. In general, I lost anywhere from 1-2 pounds a week on JC. If you are healthy and feeling great about yourself, that counts more than the actual number on the scale. JC is expensive at first, but once you reach your halfway, it's a lot cheaper. They have ways for payments and stuff too and you get a lot of discounts after you reach halfway and your goal. You asked about the kinds of food eaten. Well, they really have a variety of stuff. They have pasta dishes, turkey/chicken sandwiches, french toast, pizza, soups, egg stuff, granola bars, popcorn, cheeto-type things, chocolate bars (yes! lol), cakes (yes! again lol), etc. I'm sure you can reach your goal without JC though! I know you can do it!! You have the right mindset!
