I'm a 5'1.5" shorty. hehe I weight 126.5 and I do have some muscle mass from doing triathlon. I know I have some time for a June show. I SOOO want to BE ready... but, I don't want to do to much too soon and burn-out/overtrain. Not having a coach leaves A LOT of wiggle room which is not neccessarily a good thing for me. When I trained for my Ironman races I had a coach that gave me a schedule. You stick to the schedule, do your workouts and you race. Aside from any unforeseen accidents or mishaps, you finish! So for me...I know I'm working hard but... NOT having a "plan" made by someone who is familiar with the science behind building a physique leaves me wondering if I'm doing the right thing. My workouts are cookie cutter from BB.com right now. From the 40+ build muscle category.
When I take my posing classes I hope to learn a bit more about how to change things up to prevent a plateau. I kinda feel like I need it now. I have been practicing some in my mirror. I close my eyes to get the feel and open them to see how I did. I know getting the lats out takes a lot of practice. Wondering if I should get the shoes yet for practice.
Maybe I need to eat more. Of course the "female mentality" is thinking eat less.
