I have been on a "diet" for a long time but with little committment. I am about to turn 30 and along with other changes in my life, I have decided to really get serious about getting healthy - not just losing weight but truly taking care of myself. I am excited and a little scared but am feeling good about this!

I'm doing well, I started Bridge 2 10K today and ran 3 miles in 44 minutes ( 4 10 minute intervals with 1 walking min in between).

Each time the program increased the run time it was tough for me. I just kept thinking that I'd try that day (even when I was really scared of the program that day) and if I didn't make it I would still be better than last time. The long runs were more mental for me than physical but I broke them down into smaller segments in my head and kept thinking if the internet strangers can do it so can I. If you need anything at all let me know!
