I'd love to have another Sparkie Running Buddy! I started running in May and I can only run a mile but I haven't really pushed myself super hard to get any farther. There's a 5K in my area at the end of August so I've really gotta push myself. I did have an injury that put me back a couple weeks and now I think I've developed shin splints. I've just been pushing through it as much as possible. This week is going to be difficult for running because it's going to be SUPER humid. And running in humidity is NEVER fun! But I need to build endurance and get used to it.
As far as my diet, I'm doing a cleansing diet that my best friend and her mom have done. I did it once, a year and a half ago. I lost 8lbs in the first 2 weeks and then didn't lose anything the last 2 weeks (it's a 30 day cleanse). After that I'll start slowly introducing things back into my diet, but not everything. I'd kinda like to keep the whole Fruits, Veggies and Lean Meats thing.
