Born and raised in AZ, joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints back in April of 2014 so I have since given up drinking coffee and alcohol. Coffee was a big thing for me as I used to add flavored cream and sugar to it. I have also tried to cut back my sweets by finding healthy replacements or opting for a cup of tea that has hints of sweetness to it. My weakness still by far is chocolate however. I recently had taken a trip, first time out of state alone and while it had setbacks I am trying to overcome them. I had to stay with a friend when I got back from that trip so my diet consisted of fast food mainly and I gained a lot of the weight I had lost back. I am now trying to restructure my diet/lifestyle choices so that I can make better meal choices, drink water regularly, be active in my community and help others struggling to lose weight around me.
This isn't really a good measurement with the many brands out there but recently I had to buy bigger pants, this was a red flag to me that I had gained weight again. At first I was in denial that I only needed a size 20 but after buying 2 pairs of pants and them being snug I went with the 22 size. Granted they are still snug in areas but they fit more comfortably. I only bought 2 pairs of pants as I don't plan to stay or be in a size 22 for long. Most the skirts I bought are a stretchy type material and a size 20. If I need to adjust them later on I can ask my neighbors for help with their sewing machine.

Working on:
~drinking half a gallon of water daily for a week
~cutting out soda
~eating 3-5 small meals daily
~10 mins of bike activity
~keeping a food log

**the weight didn't go on overnight and it won't come off overnight, I am giving myself 3 years to lose the weight to account for any setbacks, major life events and because weight loss takes time. If at any time I feel that I should need more time to work at a slower weight loss I will make adjustments to my goal date.

emoticon it has been a while since I have been active on SP but....I'm baaaaacccckkk!!!! I was derailed by injuries, then health issues, then life.
It is a new day and a new season. I lost ground, but not wisdom or knowledge. I know what works and I am going to work it. Checking in to see who is on hiatus and who is active....Praying that all is well on your world.... emoticon

THANKS SO MUCH for stopping by my blog with motivation! I needed that tonight :) Tomorrow I pick myself back up from being successful in 2009, gaining it all back since, but never giving up on myself. I just need some Spark love/motivation to help push me into getting my ball rolling again and NOT GAIN IT BACK THIS TIME! This is my last do-over!
