Taking care of myself is the hardest thing I will ever do.

After losing 33% of my body weight, half of it has found me again. It's been a couple of years since I had control of my schedule and life. With the encouragement of others and the rearranging of my time, I will utilize the momentum of this New Year. Daily I will see sparkpeople BEFORE facebook gets me hooked and distracted.

My Goals:
NEW GOAL:
122# by 04/28/2013.

I would like to be 127#
by 4/28/10.
Goal met 3/28/10.
I reached 116.5# on 6/4/2010, 116# on 7/15/2010 & 115.5 on 7/28/2010.
Goal met 9/4/10 run 2 miles nonstop in 18mins 50secs. Goal met 9/8/2010 run 30 mins nonstop, 5k.
Gain full, painless use of my fingers. After 20 months my fingers were back to their normal size of 7. The drs said after 6 months they would no longer shrink, but they did.
Tone my muscles so my skin will shrink. The skin never did fully shrink...too many pregnancies, perhaps.

My Program:
 I need to track my nutrition, workout 6 days per week, bike and walk hills, too.
Stay focused so as not to sabotage myself during these 16 weeks ahead.

Personal Information:
My husband of 30 years is the love of my life. We live near Portland, OR and enjoy each other's company.

Other Information:
 We are the proud parents of 5 grown children, one a veteran, love Jesus, and America, especially Portland!

Thanks for responding Rosemary. I don't have my plan marked in stone yet but will be working on it during next week. I need to do this for healthy reasons and to feel better about myself. I find myself aching most of the time and tired of taking Ibuprofen or other pain meds to alleviate the problems. I would rather be sore from exercise than pains from inactivity. I want to be ready for my 7000+ mile trip coming in May and being in shape goes a long way for comfort and safety.

Just dropping by to say hello and hope your 2013 year goes well for you and family. For me I am back on the Diet wagon and starting an exercise program. Need to drop about 38 lbs by May 15th. That is when I start my motorcycle road trip that will include the Run For The Wall. The trip should be about 7000+ miles. I am already getting anxious and planning the trip.
Take care and hope you get some good riding in this coming Summer.

I forgot to tell you that Beaverton Motorcycles has a Vendors sale this Saturday. I will be running the Star Touring & Riding Chapter membership booth. My friend will be running the Rose City MC membership booth. Some really great deals can be had.

Thank so much for taking the time to come to the Rose City MC meeting to meet me yesterday. It was great. Wish you could have stayed and had coffee or breakfast and chatted longer. You have a great outgoing personalty and would fit right-into the club. We have around 225 members with about 35 to 70 at meetings. There are some women riders in the group as well. Along with Club membership we have a 20% discount on parts and accessories from Beaverton Motorcycles. Bob Lanphere's Beaverton Motorcycles sponsors many of the clubs events as well as the Club helps them with their events. Here is the Rose City Website:
