Hi, I just found SparkPeople.com and love it. I've gotten into the bad habit of feeling like I can't go to sleep without a bowl of cereal. Today, I started substituting water and sugarless gum so as to distract myself. Am also planning to add other activities like going for a walk or soaking in the tub so as to replace my old habits with healthier ones. Until I found this site, I was feeling like my best option for losing weight and keeping it off was weight loss surgery. Now I have new found inspiration that I can count on. Thank you! Just went to my new buddy's page and copied some of her inspirational quotes on to my page, as a reminder. Thanks for allowing me to learn from you and to teach others, as well. Drink 8 glasses of water/day.
Go for a walk with my dogs or use the treadmill and listen to music or a book on CD each day.
Reminding myself, each day, that living a healthy lifestyle is so much more fun!!! Before I know it, I'll be back to running at full speed. I can DO it, one step at a time. If I fall down, no big deal, just get back up. Correct and continue!
