    Hi Bonnie! The first time I did Whole30, it was definitely to discover if any of the eliminated foods led to my migraine. However, it also helped me with my psychological relationship with food. It made me realize how strong my will power is when I actually commit to something. Since I have an unhealthy relationship with dairy (ice cream especially) and grains, it's easier to eliminate them and find substitutes in an effort to decrease my desire for them in the future.

    I see spark says you are down 1 lb!! Yay for movement. Sometimes after I have wine mine will stick a bit or go up a little the day or two after. Forward progress!

    How's your plan going?? You are about at week 3 too, aren't you? I managed to get through V Day ok. I did have a couple glasses of wine on Friday night and a dark beer on Valentines day. We went skiing on Vday and for some reason a beer always tastes too good to pass up when we are done! With all of that I was still moving down in the scale a tad. I'm looking forward to the end of the month when I take my measurements again...although I am not really noticing any major changes in how my clothes are fitting.
    I am interested in starting some exercises besides walking. I used to love to run but am having a hard time getting back into the groove of that...will keep trying. I also need to get in some strength training during the week which I know will help eliminate some of my back and neck pain at the computer.
