Without you, this team wouldn't do as much as it does! As much as I enjoy seeing changes and improvements in myself, I enjoy seeing them in you, too!! Keep up the hard work, commitment and sacrifices!!
During some weight loss research, I came across an article that listed 7 destructive thoughts:
1) I shouldn't deprive myself 2) I'll start tomorrow 3) I don't have the time 4) No one else has to work as hard as I do 5) I just have a slow metabolism 6) I'll just have a few bites 7) I worked out, I deserve this treat
If you're interested in changing these thoughts, here's the link to the article: http://www.prevention.com/weight-loss/weig ht-loss-tips/thoughts-sabotage-weight- loss
So you lost 1 lbs, 2 lbs, 3 lbs and you scream and jump because you're so excited. You finally see the scale moving in the direction it's supposed to. Then you look in the mirror and wonder, "But wait! Where did I lose it from? I look the same!" Then you're depressed because that one pound should have meant you looked like you lost 50 lbs. Be patient! One day the scale number and your mirror will match!! Stay on track, don't give up and smile while you suffer. LOL
