Honestly, the best tip or trick I can offer is to remember it isnt an all or nothing thing - some days are better than others, and in the end, it's all about balance. I never told myself I couldn't have something, only asked myself if I really wanted it, and how I could fit it into my day - ie, did I have extra time at the gym, or could I find a healthier alternative.
Finding ways to be kinder to myself and to accept it as a change at the core of who I was rather than another diet or quick fix was when everything really started to come together.
