Oh no... Christmas came and the scales topped 180.... Time to get back into shape for ski-ing... then golf.

Well, the gym membership is paid in advance for the whole year, and it's a brand new gym right where I do my food shopping. NO EXCUSES!

Thanks Lou for stopping by my blog and leaving your comment. I had to use the calorie thingys today after consuming a couple rolls of mints and, also, after eating one spoonful of mashed potatoes while fixing dinner for my Mum.
I think I usually guess higher on the calories consumed than what they probably were, so I guess if I'm cheating, I'm still doing OK.

Thank you so much for the Goodie. Just got home from the mammo and all was clear. I used to never worry about them; they were just a nuisance but I'll never feel that way again! 3 years since original diagnosis and I'm all clear.

Thanks for the comment on my blog. And thank you for the suggestion on bulking up on vitamin rich foods. I will definitely do that. I have chicken marinating in some citrus baja sauce & have a lot of fresh veggies for a salad -- plus the potatoes. Maybe that will do the trick!
