Thanks for asking about Molly. She is doing well. She had a ruptured cyst in early December and the vet said it could recur. If it did, she wanted me to bring Molly back in. This time the cyst wasn't quite as bad but it had ruptured. The vet cleaned the area and put Molly on antibiotics for 10 days. We could go into a cycle like this -- cyst grows, ruptures, we treat and then it grows again. This vet service doesn't seem to like to remove lumps and bumps unless they piggy back onto another surgery but at $50 per ruptured cyst, at some point it might just make sense to remove it. We'll watch and wait once this one clears.
I am going to buy Molly a skinnier collar. Her collar is about an inch and half and might be rubbing the spot. Lately I have only made her wear her collar when she is leash walked but sometimes I forget to take it off. I don't know if it's a problem or not but it's worth a try.
Hope you and Lily are still relaxed from your lanai time!! 21 days ago
When Porkie was a tiny little thing and was still with his mom and sister he was always trying to hump them and they were constantly hiding from him. He was actually too little to mate but he knew he was a boy and was practicing, I guess. We decided it was best to remove him from the cage and we had to put him in one by himself. He was so lonely so I started taking him out a lot and letting him sleep on my chest. He decided he would share my snacks with me and he loved Bagel Crisps and Pretzel Thins. Of course, I was the one he humped after that. He and Baxter were the only males we had who did that. Thanks for the support. 22 days ago
