Cruzer and Cherokee do sleep together on the couch now and then. However, with Cherokee so lively, and wanting to play silly, Cruzer loses patience. As soon as Cherokee gets past the silly stage, they will be friends. Cruzer is a very mellow cat. emoticon

Charlie is doing well. The ice has made it very difficult for him to be out in the yard but at least I got the driveway mostly clear. His feet have been good since he finished two courses of antibiotics.

Molly continues to do well. We haven't had any more noise lately. She finishes her antibiotics tomorrow but is still on every other day doses of the steroid and the herbal medicine for bleeding. We've had no bleeding at all anymore and Molly is definitely back to being herself. So thankful for that.

Tony is being a good boy. He sends head butts to you and Lily.

The furnace. Monday we came home from DH's appointment and didn't think the furnace was working. We called for a repairman and were put on the list. About a half hour later, we heard the furnace come on so we called them back and cancelled. They called us and said they didn't have evidence of maintenance recently and wondered if we would just like someone to come look at it the next day. Sure. Well, I am so glad we did because it was a bit cold in the house Monday night. Apparently a hose was plugged so the furnace would click on, discover a problem and institute a soft shut down. It was doing this over and over so the temp didn't plummet but it wasn't as warm as it should have been. This had been going on for weeks but, at first, the hose probably emptied well enough. Eventually it couldn't. I'm happy it was something that was easily fixed and I am loving having the heat. I don't think that's something you're needing these days. Stay cool!!

Just wait until you retire! You can sleep in late, linger over breakfast, and still get stuff done -so amazing :-)

Molly and I did get a good walk in earlier. I also picked up after the dogs in the yard, filled the bird feeders and put salt or sand on the sidewalk and driveway. I wish DH didn't have an appointment this afternoon but we'll have to drive over to the Clinic in the early afternoon. Dad also has an appointment here. My stepsister is driving over to pick him up and take him. I'm going to worry all day about them. We might see them at the Clinic since they are both going to the eye department at about the same time but will be in different areas.

emoticon Pretty soon you can retire your alarm. If you want, that is. Are all those ducks staying in their row?
