My ultimate goal would be to thru-hike the Pacific Crest Trail - 2650 miles, takes around 5 months. Aside from that I don't want to enter old age out of shape, I don't think it has to be painful. A more immediate goal is to hike the Chilkoot Pass this summer.
I do a yoga class and a bootcamp class once a week. Then I intersperse that with exercise dvds and and going for walks. Summer is more outdoor stuff including hikes and a few backpacking trips. I would like to get into biking.
Any good and great thing requires positive thinking. The mind is quite powerful and great amounts of negativity can truly stunt your growth, whether it be spiritual growth, overcoming emotional scars, or physical health. I hope the best things for you and God bless you!!
