My ultimate goal would be to thru-hike the Pacific Crest Trail - 2650 miles, takes around 5 months. Aside from that I don't want to enter old age out of shape, I don't think it has to be painful. I am currently exploring my season weight fluctuations to avoid winter weight gain.
I do a yoga class and a bootcamp class once a week. Then I intersperse that with exercise dvds and and going for walks. Summer is more outdoor stuff including hikes and a few backpacking trips. I would like to get into biking.
I honestly don't know how you do that freezing weather. I'm so glad that you have some beautiful sunshine. What a wonderful positive way to look at the chilly temperatures! Spring is on its way for you all!!!
lol Don't worry about the couchitis!! lol It happens to all of us and will surely wear off soon!!
I've been great! Still doing interviews and looking for work. Right now, I tutor a few times a week. Trying to get back into my health routine, which would ideally be a fitness routine, healthy eating and lots of water! I haven't made it there quite yet!! I'm hoping that I learn to manage my new busy schedule and my personal life!!
Hi Lotus, Thank you for the friend add. I've added you too. I hope to get to know you better and find out the things we have in common. I see that you do yoga. My husband and I just started yoga for the first time last April. We are still beginners, but we love it. I like to jog and walk. I started jogging (walking) back in 2010. We are older (in our 60's) but trying to stay as healthy as possible, given health mistakes we made when younger and our genetics. I wish you well as you challenge yourself to be the best you possible. Blessings, Leslie in So. Cal
