It's not a diet...it's a healthy living change!

I have decided to go on my final diet...a healthy lifestyle change. I am determined to eat healthy which will allow me to reach my goal weight and stay there. I have PCOS which has made it difficult for me to lose the weight. I am a christian SAHM with a 4 year old daughter. I have 60 pounds to lose and I'm looking forward to my new life!!!

My Goals:
I would like to lose 60 pounds total.

15 pounds by Christmas (14 weeks)

25 pounds by March 14 (25 weeks)

40 pounds by July 4 (41 weeks)

50 pounds by September 15 (51 weeks)

60 pounds by Thanksgiving November 22 (61 weeks)

My Program:
I am using the food pyramid as an outline to my diet. Basically, I am trying to eat more fruits and vegetables (using the food pyramid as minimums) and less meats and sweets.

I am also trying to fit in walking on the treadmill at least 30 minutes to start. I would like to work that up to 60 minutes a day at least 5 times a week. Having a hard time finding a good time when I will be able to do it!

Personal Information:
I live in California. I am 38 and have been diagnosed with PCOS. I am a SAHM to a 4 year old, TTC #2. I am Christian and enjoy a weekly bible study at my church.

If you click on the COMMUNITY tab above, then on Friend Feed, you will see a highlighted area about "mutual friends." That is such a helpful little link! It shows you who you've added that's added you as a friend. It also tells you who has added you that you've not yet added, and who you've added that hasn't added you, yet. Very helpful stuff! If you have questions about anything, please feel free to ask. There were so many people who helped me when I first came here. I love opportunities to pay it forward. Have a GREAT week!!

When people befriend one another here, their activities on the site show up on our Friend Feed. That way we can see each other's status entries, blog posts, etc. Do you see a friend feed off to the right side of your Start Page? It should be there.
