It's not a diet...it's a healthy living change!

I have decided to go on my final diet...a healthy lifestyle change. I am determined to eat healthy which will allow me to reach my goal weight and stay there. I have PCOS which has made it difficult for me to lose the weight. I am a christian SAHM with a 4 year old daughter. I have 60 pounds to lose and I'm looking forward to my new life!!!

My Goals:
I would like to lose 60 pounds total.

15 pounds by Christmas (14 weeks)

25 pounds by March 14 (25 weeks)

40 pounds by July 4 (41 weeks)

50 pounds by September 15 (51 weeks)

60 pounds by Thanksgiving November 22 (61 weeks)

My Program:
I am using the food pyramid as an outline to my diet. Basically, I am trying to eat more fruits and vegetables (using the food pyramid as minimums) and less meats and sweets.

I am also trying to fit in walking on the treadmill at least 30 minutes to start. I would like to work that up to 60 minutes a day at least 5 times a week. Having a hard time finding a good time when I will be able to do it!

Personal Information:
I live in California. I am 38 and have been diagnosed with PCOS. I am a SAHM to a 4 year old, TTC #2. I am Christian and enjoy a weekly bible study at my church.

Hi! I came across your page looking for some spark friends. I like you have PCOS, I understand what it is like to struggle with your weight due to this disease. I was a thin thing until I hit puberty and then puberty hit me. I ballooned! By the time I was 19, I was just over 180lbs. PCOS is a very ugly thing. It nice to have others who understand the path that you have to travel down.
