I am on here trying to stay motivated to get back in shape. I hope that through this I will have the strength to make it to my goal and possibly beyond. I am a grad student in Nashville and I'm hoping to enrich my body and mind. It seems as though you don't realize how out of control it has gotten until your so far past where you ever wanted to be. But I will use that for motivation to prove to myself that I can do it. So I hope that will be my contious motivation for getting to where I want to be. I pray that this time I can stay on the path and live a healthier and happier lifestyle.

My Goals:
Short term: My goal for now is to cut down on some of the high sugar food that I eat. I may not be able to go cold turkey, but I can ease up on some of it little by little so that I can get rid of my sweet tooth.

Long Term: My ideal weight and ultimate goal is 165lbs.

My Program:
I am currently trying to make it to the gym at least 3 times a week sometimes more if at all possible. My ultimate goal is to weigh 165, although I don't have far to go, the journey will be hard, but when I reach my goal it will be well worth it!

Personal Information:
I am a 25 year old graduate student in Nashville, Tennessee. School is my full-time job and I also work part-time.

I am glad to hear you are back on track. I have been sick this past week so I have hit a road bump. What keeps me motivated? I can't get enough of the compliments I am getting. I started this journey for myself but people have been so encouraging to me. I don't know if going to the gym will ever be second nature but it is part of the process. It is the path to my goal so it is a must. I look at myself everyday in the mirror and tell myself that I love myself and point to all the areas that must change. It is fun watching it happen. We will get there, but only if we refuse to quit! emoticon
