Losing the worser half.

I need to lose 130lbs and I started at 260. That's losing half of myself. I am hoping that through tracking and getting back on track with exercise that I can get healthy. For my health, my self-esteem, my family, and my better half. Also hoping to find out more about my true self, and not the mopey, depressed person I am at my current weight. I use comedy as a shield, so I tend to make jokes at my own expense.

At ~220, my self-confidence started making a come-back. I'm learning to love my body, even though it's not perfect and will never be perfect. I realized I never learned how to style my hair or properly put on make-up. I want to remedy these things now that I'm starting to like my appearance.

Personal Information:
I'm from Baton Rouge. Very unhealthy choices all around me. My husband is a bit of an enabler and I'm on my own (with the exception of my dog) on the exercise. I'd love to find some friends locally to do this with.

Other Information:
In 2011, I lost 43 lbs, leaving me 16 lbs to go until reaching a weight of 200 lbs.

In 2012, I maintained a 50 lb weight loss.

In 2013, I'd like to finish my journey to my healthy weight.

Gee...thanks for the kind words. I am healing and I did look askance at that devil treadmill this morning when I was working out on the elliptical. I told it I'm comin' for it tomorrow!

I am the same way with Katie's Blog! Everything I see on there I want to make! It all looks crazy good and I love sweets! I am with you on the buffets! I actually try not to eat out but once or twice a month just bc I love cooking and it usually taste a lot better when I make it at home. But I did go out Friday night for Sushi and ending up eating too many rolls! I love Sushi! It's my weakness. I love Jello Pudding. I actually found a clean recipe for that if your interested! Thanks for the comment!
