For the past twenty years, I've watched my weight go from 145 to 310 pounds. I am not at my best physically or emotionally. This excess weight has really begun to affect the quality of my life and I ready to let it go. I need to find the motivation to keep going and hope this site will help.

My Goals:
To feel better, both inside and out. To eat for nutrition's sake. To eat 1200 - 1500 calories each day. To drink 8 glasses of water each day. To be able to buy clothes that express who I am again. To look my best. To be able to move freely again.
My Program:
I make sure there is good, healthy food in the house. I eat three meals a day and each meal contains a protein. I don't let more than six hours go between meals (except overnight).
Personal Information:
I've lived in Connecticut for all but two years of my life. I absolutely love being in water - it makes me feel lighter both inside and out. I am in my mid-fifties, have been happily married for 23 years and have two grown children (aged 30 and 28).
