Loser's Haven will be coming up soon....

Hello :) I signed up to sparkpeople in '06 and then promptly forgot about it. Now, nearly 3 years later, I realized that I'm still at the same place I was back then. So as of Mid August '09, I've decided to become dedicated to this site and to getting myself on track. I don't really have a lot of weight to lose -- it's all about toning my body in the right places and making a conscious effort to eat a balanced diet and get regular exercise. My nutrition and fitness tracking may be sporadic, but I always keep SP in mind when making my choices. Feel free to drop a line to say hi :)

A mal would be loads of fun to do some pulling work with! There are some wonderful sites out there that go over some of the various trainings you can do with a dog that wants to pull. Skijoring.com is one of the better ones, especially working with one dog. You can also do bikejoring (I do this to train my leads) and canicross which is your dog running ahead of you on a skijoring line, while you run behind. I've heard it helps in running up hills. ;)

Love to hear how it goes if/when you do it!
