Getting Fit for 50
Although I'm really struggling to lose weight, I'm determined to do it in time for my 50th in August 2011. I weigh 152lbs at the moment and want to get to at least 136lb by next year. Anyway, loving this site and there seems to be so much incredible support and fantastic achievements out there I can't help but be inspired. Everytime I feel deflated (every day standing on the scales!) I try and visit the site and It makes me feel that I CAN and WILL do it.

My Goals:
To lose at least 14lbs by next year. I'd like to lose more if I can but will stick to this goal for now. To add strength training to my workouts. To accept myself just the way I am. To work towards being healthier and not worry so much about my weight. NOT to eat after 9pm.
My Program:
I'm sticking to my 1,200 - 1,500 calories a day, usually staying around 1,200. I run 2 miles, 3 x per week I now drink 8 glasses of water a day, woo-hoo
