My Goals:
Short-tern Goals:
1) To break 150 Pounds for first time since having children.
2) To develop a consistent exercise ad lifting routine after work, before I pick up my kids, now that the holiday hustle bustle is over.
3) To do more exploratory blogging and positive self talk. Eliminate negative self-defeating behaviors and thoughts.
4) the damn water thing...i hate drinking water.

Long-Term
1) To balance work, motherhood and marriage while finding time to take care of myself and follow my own voice.
2) To cook healthy whole food meals and teach my children good eating habits.
3)To skate a competitive 1500 meter at the Utah Olympic Oval.
4) To get to a weight that find me confident seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

May 17th MC Half, Fredericksburg
May 23rd Elizabeth River Run 10K
Sept 6 VA Beach Rock n Roll Half
Oct 25th MC 10K and Marathon


My Program:
Exercise:
Sunday: Skate, Bike or Run
Monday: Back and Biceps w Cardio bursts
Tuesday: Legs and Shoulders with cardio bursts
Wednesday: Skate, Bike, Run or Zumba
Thursday: Chest and Triceps with cardio bursts
Friday: Run, bike or Skate
Saturday: Off


Diet: Weight Watchers, when it becomes overwhelming, I just try to keep to whole foods, keep journaling and watching portions.

Balance: Identifying one priority task per day to accomplish and letting the rest fall where it may. My mom always said, "When time is short, keep your kitchen counters clean so that you can cook healthy, and keep your bathroom clean for guests, and the rest of the house will survive." I live by this philosophy :P

I love good teas and good conversation with friends.
I love painting and digital illustration but rarely have time currently. I love reading, and I am trying to find the confidence to do more creative non-fiction writing. My passion is long-track ice speed skating and I hope to let my husband know that I am serious enough by giving up the excuses and losing this weight!
