No Mo' Lil' Smokies!

Hello! My name is Lori and I'm fat. In all seriousness, I need to lose weight in a real bad way.

I have a group called "Losing with Buddies" and I'm looking for people who are supportive to help me reach my goals. So join my group!

Hello! My name is Lori and I'm fat. In all seriousness, I need to lose weight in a real bad way.

I have a group called "Losing with Buddies" and I'm looking for people who are supportive to help me reach my goals. So join my group!


My motivation for losing weight comes from a football game party my husband and I had at our home. We invited tons of people of which about half showed. I made lil smokes for everyone and once everyone had gone, realized that I had probably 80% of them left (out of two packages). So of course, I had to eat them. I have issues with "clean plate" and "food going to waste", etc. So I ate three bowls of lil smokies. I've never felt so sick in my life. Not to mention that lil smokies give you some rank gas. :\ Let's be honest here - THERE'S NOTHING GLAMOROUS ABOUT BEING FAT.

I've also noticed these changes due to my abnormally high body weight:

- I don't sleep well (sleep apnea?)
- My skin keeps breaking out and I've always had flawless perfect skin!
- My hair gets oily and it never used to do that.
- I sweat a lot more than I used to and it don't smell good!
- I'm tired ALL the time.
- My shoes that I've always worn suddenly don't seem to fit like they did.... are my feet getting fat?
And the list goes on and on. I'd like to reverse ALL of these issues. I've only noticed them since I past that horrid 200 mark - so I'm hoping that once I get below that, these things will go with it.

My Goals:
Reach 150 lbs again - before I die. Preferably sooner.

Reach 200 lbs by my anniversary in June of 2008.

My Program:
10 minutes of Cardio Exercise daily.

4 bottles of water (16.9 fl oz each) daily.

Take my vitamins!

Eat three meals a day and eat them slower.

Bed by 2am and up by 10am.

Personal Information:
I'm fat. Seriously.

I'm 29 (30 in January), married in June of 2003 and been TTC since December of 2003.

Just hopped back on Spark after a wayyyyy too long hiatus. I hit my highest weight ever, 245, and am back to Spark because it's the one thing I feel truely helped me lose weight. If you're still around, I'd love to catch up. Hope things are going well!!

Hey thanks for the information about the other books! I had no idea there were others (I mean, I'd seen the titles but hadn't made the connection)! And yea, the movie comes out on the 29th! I'm so freakin excited. I've already seen some differences between the book and the previews but I'm so excited nonetheless.

Hi Lori,
I'm Jennifer. I live in Salt Lake, was married in June in the Salt Lake Temple, also experience several of the yucky things about being overweight and I've even read The Other Boleyn Girl (which caught my attention on your information section because i just read it and loved).

Anyway, I hope to hear from you soon and congrats on your achievements so far!
